Silence may be golden, but the Majority must be heard! Especially now.
We are an informal, open-to-all group that gets together every Friday afternoon in the conference room at OfficeXpats (in the Pavilion on Madison), from 4:30 to 6:30. Come for a while or come for a bit. Come with a friend!
Some of us make calls to our Senators, Representative, Governor and others. Some of us write postcards or faxes. Some of us post public comments on Regulations.gov. Some of us email the EPA’s Scott Pruitt. And some of us craft letters-to-the-editor. In short, there are many ways to make your majority voice heard, and we will show you how easy it is to do from your smart phone or laptop or with old-fashioned pen and paper. We provide a comfortable setting full of encouragement among friends to write and call. We provide postcards, stamps, info and snacks to share. We learn something each week from each other as we continue in our long game of activism in favor of true American values. It’s a terrific group and a great way to finish off your work week.
Because the most important kind of energy — even more essential to our future than clean, green energy — is your energy — Join us each Friday afternoon between 4:30 and 6:30 at OfficeXpats.
As Senator Cory Booker says, “If it is to be, it is up to me.”
