- Rachel Bitecofer, of the Niskanen Center, released her 2020 analysis at the end of April. (She correctly predicted the Blue Wave in 2018.) She’s predicting that in the Senate, Democrats will end up with at least 50 seats and Republicans with at least 48 seats. The remaining 2 seats are tossups (Montana and Kansas). She predicts Democrats will hold the House with at least 235 seats (a gain of at least three seats), and Republicans will end up with at least 192 (a potential loss of four seats). The remaining 8 seats are toss-ups. Read the full report here.
