Community Matters: What We Have In Common-Three Faith Traditions

November 28, 2017 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

COMMUNITY MATTERS
What We Have In Common: Three Faith Traditions

Join us for a conversation related to the lives and faith of three friends ā€“ a Muslim Interfaith Leader, a Christian Pastor, and a Jewish Rabbi.

At a time of growing divisiveness and misinformation in our country, share in the opportunity to learn more about the commonalities of three faith traditions, and how they are driven by their faith toward good works, unity, and justice for all.

Will include a panel discussion plus an easy and fun group connecting exercise to discover commonalities.

Interfaith Leaders:
Aneelah Afzali, Director/Interfaith Leader, Muslim Association of Puget Sound – MAPS
Rev. Ellie VerGowe, Pastor, First Covenant Church, Seattle
Rabbi Ruth A. Zlotnick, Senior Rabbi, Temple Beth Am

Event is sponsored by Eastside Refugee and Immigrant Coalition (ERIC), Wellness Professionals Network, and the Redmond Library as a collaborative effort to support community wellness through opportunities for meaningful connections.

This is a free event and open to all. Registration recommended but not required. Join us!
