Postcards on Wednesday

Join us to write postcards to urge Democratic voters to vote in special elections all around the country. (Notice that acronym for Postcards on Wednesday is “POW”!)
These postcards have helped to elect many Democratic candidates in states you never thought possible! In April, we wrote postcards for Pam Iovino, who won her race for a seat in the Pennsylvania state senate.
We also wrote postcards for Judge Lisa Neubauer, who lost her race for a seat on the Wisconsin Supreme Court by just a few thousand votes. Maybe just a few more postcards would have put her over the top!
We’ll be writing postcards for Marc Friedenberg in a pretty Republican (and gerrymandered) Congressional District in Pennsylvania. Marc ran for this same seat in November 2018. The Republican who won decided he really didn’t want to be a congressman. Marc is the opposite of that Republican candidate: He is a tenacious candidate in a district that wants the things Democrats want: affordable and accessible healthcare, fully funded public schools and local infrastructure improvements.
