Solidarity Day at NWDC

On Saturday, August 17th, we will be at the Northwest Detention Center for a solidarity day co-hosted by La Resistencia and the Coalition of Anti-Racist Whites (CARW). Join us to connect with folks visiting loved ones, remind those inside that we are with them, and to remind ICE/GEO that we won’t stop until we shut it down and all people are free from cages!
This event is focused on connecting with families visiting folks inside. We will not have a program, but will have art-making and letter-writing materials. Having a steady, visible presence outside the center is crucial in keeping pressure on ICE/GEO and an important part of reminding folks inside that they are not alone.
