United Against Neo-Fascists: A Leftist counter-demonstration

Neo-fascists and right-wing extremists from the Proud Boys, Patriot Prayer and the 3 Percenters are coming to Seattle on 8/18 to intimidate, agitate and disrupt our community. We must come together and stand united against their hate and let them know their violence will not be tolerated in our city!

While 3 Percenter organizer Matt Marshall says the rally is simply to oppose I-1639, it is clear that this is another action being supported by the violent neo-fascists who have been attacking activists at rallies in Portland and elsewhere. It’s part of the neo-fascist campaign of fear, intimidation and violence against Antifascists and the Left.

These groups have been involved in vicious attacks on Antifascists in Portland in recent weeks, some of which have resulted in people being hospitalized. The “alt right” is also organizing other events in August as part of their campaign of fear, intimidation and violence designed to terrify people and quash opposition to their neo-fascist agenda.

This page will be used to distribute information about radical right groups in the Northwest as well as individuals that are likely to engage in violence or intimidation the day of the event. We’ll also be working together to organize our response to this threat to our community.
