Washington Wildlife for All

December 12, 2018 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Mark your calendars! On December 12, join us from 4-6pm, immediately prior to and in the same location as the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) Open House from 6:30-8:30pm. This event is FREE and open to the public.

We will gather with wildlife allies to discuss how we can express our concerns over WDFW’s current management policies regarding Washington’s wolf population, the Orca emergency, and the Department’s prioritization of game species. We want to show the Washington Fish and Wildlife Director and Commissioners the enormous support in our community for ALL WILDLIFE SPECIES.

Later at the Open House, you’ll hear the new WDFW Director discuss the Department’s budget, and the public will be given an opportunity to provide suggestions to help the Department develop budget strategies that diversify funding sources (i.e. not solely hunting/fishing dollars).

It is time for WDFW to reflect its responsibility to manage wildlife for ALL the citizens in the state, not just a few special interests.
