Voices of the Majority – 9/25/17

R.I.P. GOP Repeal.

This Friday let’s toast the demise of the GOP’s latest and lamest effort to repeal & replace Obamacare.

While we’re at it, let’s cheer last night’s victories by Kari Lerner, who flipped a New Hampshire house seat from red to blue, and Annette Taddeo, who flipped a Florida house seat from red to blue. They are the 7th and 8th Democrats to flip a seat in special elections this year.

And let’s lock arms with the NFL and their unified rebuttal to Trump’s divisive tweets and tantrums.

And whether you are a fan of the Golden State Warriors or not (Go Cavaliers!), let’s applaud their decision to decline an invitation to the White House. The college champion University of North Carolina basketball team also declined to visit the White House. So, let’s write our own letters to the White House, advising that we too will decline any invitation.

See you this Friday afternoon between 4:30-6:30 pm at OfficeXpats (in the large conference room) upstairs in the Pavilion on Madison!
(Drop the kids at the 3:45 showing of the LEGO movie, and hang with us until 5:15.)
