all events scheduled for the Protect the Results national coalition placeholder date (December 1) have been moved to a new placeholder date: December 31. If we do not activate in December, we will move the placeholder date to January 20 — Inauguration day. Please refer to updates from your local host for additional information on your event. This is non-partisan and is an initiative where all aspects of the community can come together and safeguard our democracy. We will have next steps to protect our democracy when we need them.

With every tweet and refusal to commit to accepting the legitimate results of the 2020 election, Trump seeks to stoke chaos and fear.
But we will be ready – if Trump tries to steal the election or prevent every vote from being counted, the Protect the Results will activate nationwide mobilizations to demand that all the votes are counted and for the peaceful transition of power.
NOTE: We think the likelihood of activation is high. We should all plan as though these events could be as early as the afternoon on Wednesday, November 4. But, this is a tentative date & time.
