We’ll gather at Noon and begin with youth getting us started (on the bullhorn or mic), then at 12:30 p.m., we’ll step off and march. The current plan for the marching route is: 5th…to Pacific…to MLK…to Park…down to Evergreen Park, where it will end.
More details are in-the-works. Please stay tuned to this Facebook event listing for updates, which will all be posted in the Discussion of the listing as soon as they’re available.
*** The “Juneteenth Monumental March for Black Lives” is being organized by the community team that plans the Juneteenth Freedom Festival usually held in Evergreen Park (not being held this year due to COVID-19 physical distancing safety measures) ***
