Let Justice Echo at JPMorgan Chase

This Friday, Jan 10th, people across the country are visiting JPMorgan Chase to tell them it’s a new decade & fossil fuels are old news!
Come and join us in Seattle for a family-friendly sing along at JPMorgan Chase branches in Fremont and downtown. We’ll be led in song, art and music by the People’s Echo, a Seattle-based climate movement song collective. We’ll have banners, inflatable oil pipelines, snacks & stories to share.

This will be a family-friendly, fun-filled action. It will be a fine time – and you should join us!
WHY WE’RE DOING THIS
Why? Because Chase is the world’s largest funder of fossil fuels, and even its Wall Street competitors, like Goldman Sachs, are committing to stop funding coal mining and Arctic drilling. Chase needs to get with the script and fund the renewable revolution, not toxic, climate-wrecking fossil fuels.

LOGISTICS TO KNOW
We’ll gather at the Lenin statue in Fremont at 10am, and will be leaving shortly after that to visit a branch from there. After a few songs at a branch in the neighborhood, we’ll hop on buses downtown (sing-song on the bus, anyone?) and walk to a few of our very favorite branches. In total, we plan to walk around a mile and we’ll be getting on one bus. Please bring change for the bus if you can — $2.75!

ART BUILD: We’re hosting an art build on Sunday, Jan 5th, 12 to 5pm, at the Fremont Powerhouse, 3940 Fremont Ave N., 98103. We’ll be making drums from metal trash cans & plastic barrels, as well as beautiful art and banners. Join us then if you can!
