In fact, this has already happened to some Medicare recipients without their knowledge.
These CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services) programs will put insurers in the position to siphon off a portion of the funding intended for benefits and their profits and will lead to higher premiums. It could potentially lead to killing traditional Medicare completely.
