Standing Together in Solidarity

Candlelight vigil at Waterfront Park (In front of the Senior Center)  This vigil, organized by the Race Equity Advisory Committee, is in solidarity with our Asian community and all other people of color. Candles will be provided for those who do not have them. Masks and Social Distancing are mandatory (even for those who have received the COVID 19 vaccine). This vigil was originally scheduled for April 3 but is now scheduled for April 17.

People will gather at the intersection of 305 & Winslow Way and walk to City Hall. Masks and Social Distancing are mandatory (even for those who have received the COVID 19 vaccine). Tacoma LNG: Trial Update

Puget Sound Energy’s Tacoma LNG facility was built without consultation or consent from the Puyallup Tribe, and before it had received all of its permits. We know this facility endangers our health, safety, and climate, threatening Indigenous, Brown, and Black bodies first and worst.
