Let’s fight Taxes with Faxes!
Join us tomorrow at 5:00pm (a shade later than usual) at OfficeXpats. Our focus will be to fax tax facts to specific representatives, to encourage them to vote against whatever final tax scam comes out of the Senate – House reconciliation conference. Both the House and Senate will have to vote on the final version of the tax bill before it gets to the White House. Thanks to Ricann, we have a chart here of the representatives who are most likely to rethink their vote.

We’ll also take aim at the NRA and their Concealed Carry Reciprocity bill that passed the House this week and now moves to the Senate:
Thirty-nine states require gun safety training for any concealed carry permit applicant, at least 30 states ban convicted domestic abusers from having gun permits, and 28 states bar convicted stalkers from having permits. Under the Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act, these popular common-sense gun control measures would be invalidated. Permitless concealed carry would become legal in every state. This law would allow gun owners to sue police for even attempting to verify the status of their permits.
