Voices of the Majority-3/29/18

About Voices of the Majority. Previous posts: here. Updated 3/29/18.

What a week!

Last Friday we had an inspiring visit from Emily Randall. She’s running for the WA state senate from Bremerton and welcomes your help in getting out the vote.

Then on Saturday some of us ferried across to the March for Our Lives in Seattle, and others drove to Silverdale to join an encouragingly-large march around Kitsap Mall.

If you tuned in to coverage of the march in D.C. you may have heard the students talk about what comes next:

Let’s keep the momentum going… Join us Friday afternoon anytime between 4:30 and 6:30 at OfficeXpats, in the conference room upstairs in the Pavilion on Madison to make calls and write cards on key issues! We provide a comfortable setting full of encouragement among friends to write and call. We learn something each week from each other as we continue in our long game of activism in favor of responsibility, accountability and other progressive values. It’s a terrific group and a great way to finish off your work week. Come join us, hang out with some fellow Bainbridgers, and make your voices heard in DC and Olympia.
