11:45-12:30 Rally: it’s about a clean DREAM Act this week: IBI has cosponsored a resolution that we will deliver to the Senators this week! We demand that they include it in the tax scam bill.
12:30-1:30 Meet with the Senators’ staffers. Deliver the resolution.
Please join us at the Henry M. Jackson Federal Building on Tuesday, Dec. 5th at 11:45am. In the showdown leading up to the Dec. 8th deadline to pass a budget, Democrats have leverage. And we must hold out for a clean DREAM Act, CHIP, and more.
As usual, we will enter the federal building immediately after the rally for a meeting with Senate staffers. Also as usual (from now through December), we will be gathering signatures for De-Escalate Washington’s I-940 ballot initiative for better police training and accountability.
