Solidarity Day at NWDC, July 1

Over the past few weeks, we’ve seen another round of inhuman policy decisions out of DC, and community resistance has been fierce! On June 5, we shut down the street outside ICE’s local headquarters. On June 9, we gathered outside the SeaTac Detention Center to demand the release of 200 mothers who were separated from their children at the border. And on July 1, we’ll be back at Tacoma’s Immigration Prison, where 1,575 people are still caged while they await deportation hearings.
Join us from 1:30pm to 4pm outside the Northwest Detention Center to show our solidarity with those in detention, our support for families visiting their loved ones, and our resistance to the oppressive immigration/prison system.
