Hi everyone! This Saturday at 2pm there will be a PEACEFUL protest at the intersection between 305 and Winslow Way near BIMA and the police station. Amelia Kimball, Katie Irvin, Naszya Bradshaw and I have been working together to get this started as a youth-led entirely peaceful protest. This will be kid friendly! Please wear all black and bring signs if you’re planning to come. Wear a mask and please stay six feet apart from others! The purpose of this protest is to show our community’s outrage over the murder of George Floyd and the horrific injustices people of color face in America. Our goal is to peacefully express that police brutality and racism will not be ignored here but rejected!
