Canvassing in Issaquah to flip the 8th!

Join us in canvassing in Issaquah this weekend to flip the 8th Congressional District from red to blue!

Saturday, Sept. 22 from 10 am to 1:30 pm.
Meet up in the galley on the 7:55 a.m. ferry to Seattle. Kathy Wallace will be there with her clipboard sitting at a table facing the cashiers. She may even bring her pussy hat!

When we arrive at Colman Dock, we’ll walk up to the 5th & Jackson St bus stop and catch the 9:32 Route 554 Express bus to Issaquah. We’ll arrive at the Issaquah Transit Center at 9:54 a.m.. Tula Holmes will meet us there and drive us to the campaign headquarters just a few blocks away at 1320 NW Mall St Ste E. After training, we’ll drive to our turf (that’s campaign lingo for the neighborhood where we’ll be knocking on doors).

We’ll be talking with voters about Dr. Kim Schrier, who is the candidate who WILL flip the 8th, Bill Ramos (candidate for position 1 in our state legislature) and Lisa Callan (candidate for position 2 in our state legislature). Bring your determination to check our current “president,” a snack, and some water, and prepare for a high of 67 degrees and a very slight chance of rain.

Tula needs to drop off a painting in downtown Seattle, so after the canvass, she’ll give us a ride to Seattle and drop us off at Colman Dock. (Thank you, Tula!)
