Dave Reichert Constituent Town Hall

The 47th District Democrats, Indivisible Covington, and Girl Scout troop 41415 are hosting a town hall meeting.
Republican Congressman Dave Reichert has refused to schedule a public event to listen to the questions and concerns of his constituents. We deserve answers, so we have organized our own town hall meeting. He will be in town for the congressional recess, all he has to do is show up. We will save a seat for him.
We are in the process of inviting other elected officials and community leaders who represent people from the 8th congressional district.

Mr. Reichert has said to me personally that he will neither conduct nor attend a town hall. I have scheduled this event during the next Congressional recess. Mr. Reichert’s office is aware of this town hall already, and will be given a formal invitation tomorrow in person. It is up to him whether he chooses to attend. His office is also free to send a representative to speak for him, such as Congresswoman Jayapal did recently.
