Join our carpool to Issaquah this Saturday for canvassing in the 8th Congressional District! We currently have room for three more in Susan’s Honda Civic.
The Republican incumbent, Dave Reichert, is retiring (Yay!) so this is an open seat that a Democrat has every right to win. We’ve got three well-qualified candidates running in the primary – Shannon Hader, Jason Rittereiser and Kim Schrier.
Plus, we’ve got two great state legislative candidates – Bill Ramos and Lisa Callan – to talk about, too.
We’ll be encouraging Democrats to get their ballots in.
Meet up in the galley on the 8:45 a.m. ferry. (Look for a pussy hat.) We’ll be gathering at the location below at 10:00 a.m., get a little training, and head out to knock on doors in Sammamish by 10:30 a.m. Should be done by 2 p.m. or earlier.
It’s fun, it’s good exercise and it’s for a good cause!
