On this call we will discuss what Medicare for All is, our current profit-driven health care system, and how we change it. We will discuss the case for Medicare for All and offer concrete next steps to take action. We will also have time for Q&A at the end.

Attention Action needed

There is a bill, SB5204, in the WA Senate Health Care Committee which will not only provide affordable and comprehensive coverage to everyone it will lower most people’s insurance costs by thousands of dollars. However, the powerful healthcare lobby is strongly encouraging our elected reps to ignore this bill again as they have for the last three years.

We need everyone to contact their leg reps and the WA Dem leadership and request that they at least have a public hearing for SB5204. The legislature’s own study found that a system like SB5204 would save individuals thousands of dollars amounting to over $5,000,000,000. total.

This year’s legislative session is very short so please take action now.
