Police Liaison Training

March 28, 2018 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

With over 2,000 signers, the PNW Pledge of Resistance is a powerful tool to resist fossil fuels and uphold climate justice in our region. From shutting down fracked gas facilities to bank blockades, we are a community ready to resist the expansion of fossil fuels and the unfolding climate crisis with direct action and civil disobedience.

At every action, it’s important to have people trained and tasked to interact with police, both for the safety of participants and success of the action. If you feel comfortable being the designated point of communication between activists and security forces, come to this training!

FREE – donation suggested to support training series.

Accessibility info: This training is on the third floor of a building with stairway access only, and is not ADA accessible. Please do not wear strong scents to the training to accommodate people who are scent-sensitive.

This training is part of 350 Seattle’s Pledge of Resistance training series. Full series description is here:

Pledge to engage in civil disobedience to stop new fossil fuel projects and support climate justice at
