Positively R-90: Speaking out for safe and healthy youth in WA

Most Indivisibles are already planning on voting to APPROVE R-90, the statewide referendum requiring all public schools to teach age-appropriate, inclusive, comprehensive sexual health education to K-12 students. At “Positively R-90”, we’ll talk about what else we can do to help — for example, making sure our friends and relatives know that young people who have quality sex education are less likely to partake in risky sex behavior, experience unintended pregnancy, or get a sexually transmitted infection.

We’ll also cover how to respond to the disinfo that’s being used to attack R-90 (as well as politicians who support it) and volunteer for the Approve R-90 campaign. Plus, people from the Approve R-90 campaign will give an overview of why it matters so much — and answer any questions.
