Postcards on Wednesday!

Indivisible Bainbridge Island is writing postcards on Wednesdays at the Town & Country (upstairs on the second level where there are chairs and tables) on Winslow Way on Bainbridge Island.
We’ve got the postcards, pens, highlighters, addresses and the script. You bring the determination and enthusiasm!
Masks are encouraged!
This week, we’ll be writing to flip California’s CD-27. It flipped to Democrats in 2018, flipped back to the GOP in 2020. Then redistricting changed the district’s borders. Let’s flip it again! The candidate is Christy Smith, who represented much of the 27th when she served in the state legislature. The script is pro-choice.
In coming weeks, we’ll be writing to defend other Democratic senators (Catherine Cortez Masto in Nevada and Raphael Warnock in Georgia) and then going on the offensive by writing to Wisconsin and Pennsylvania to gain Democratic seats in the U.S. Senate.
