Postcards on Wednesday

We’re writing postcards upstairs at the Town & Country, starting at 2:00 pm on Wednesdays. Normally we’re writing to flip some of the 18 congressional districts that Biden won in 2020 but were won by a Republican in 2022. We’ve got postcards, pens, scripts and stamps. Please reimburse us for stamps if you can.

But this week, we’re writing postcards in support of North Kitsap School Board candidate Terri Schumacher and maybe other candidates as well. These cards need to be in the mail this week!

After that, we’re writing to Ohio voters urging them to vote NO on the special election to raise the threshold from a simple majority to 60% in order to pass a ballot initiative. Even though the Ohio GOP passed a law outlawing special elections in August, they are holding this special election in order to make it harder (if not impossible) to pass the November ballot initiative protecting reproductive health care. These cards need to be in the mail no later than July 27.
