Postcards on Wednesday! – Cancelled but resuming on Nov. 29!

Indivisible Bainbridge Island is writing postcards upstairs at the Town & Country, starting at 2:00 pm on Wednesdays. We’re writing to flip those 18 congressional districts that Biden won in 2020 but were won by a Republican in 2022. We’ve got postcards, pens, scripts and stamps.
We are totally self-funded. Please help us with stamps if you can.
First, some horn-tooting! Indivisible WA made a big effort to support the campaign of Susanna Johnson for Snohomish County Sheriff. Her incumbent opponent was a MAGA sheriff. She was endorsed by all five previous Snohomish County sheriffs. Indivisible Bainbridge Island wrote 500 postcards for Susanna, and she won! Read all about it!
Now back to the future! Having written 900 postcards telling voters in California’s 27th CD about their MAGA representative, Mike Garcia’s pro-abortion ban stance, we’re switching things up a bit by writing to voters in New York’s 22nd CD about their Republican representative, Brandon Williams’ pro-gun stance. He won his seat in 2022 by just 1 point.
We’re using the Question Mark postcards for this campaign. You can also get Question Mark postcards from Holly’s front porch. Then email Kathy to get the script and addresses.
With everything we now know about the new speaker, Mike Johnson, and with Joe Manchin’s announcement that he’s not running for re-election and plans to tour the country to build support for his “No Labels” presidential run, it is absolutely imperative that Democrats re-take control of the House in 2024!
