Postcards on Wednesday!

Indivisible Bainbridge Island is writing postcards upstairs at the Town & Country, at 2:00 pm on Wednesdays. Our band of writers as grown in number since January to about 30 people. It’s clear that Democratic momentum is growing! Sam Rosenberg of the Hopium Chronicles says handwritten postcards to voters is the single most effective way to inspire them to vote, and we believe him!
In April, we’ve been writing to flip Arizona’s CD 6, currently held by Juan Ciscomani, another MAGA Republican who won his seat in 2022 with 50.7% of the vote. We are writing in support of Kirsten Engel, who ran against Ciscomani in 2022 and nearly won with 49.2% of the vote. She is running again to win it.
In May we’ll start writing 500 postcards for Rep. Kim Schrier in Washington’s CD 8! We’ll be holding the written postcards until the mail date of October 24.

We are totally self-funded. Please help us with stamps or reimbursements for stamps if you can. We’ll be holding a yard sale on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend (May 25). Email Kathy if you have items to donate!
