Rally for Impeachment

We’ll be rallying at Waypoint Park to urge ferry travelers to call our representative, Derek Kilmer, to support impeachment hearings or, at minimum, impeachment inquiries, or to even say the word “impeachment.”
Rep. Kilmer was quoted in the Seattle Times on May 23 as follows: “Congress will continue to fulfill its responsibility and duty to safeguard the Constitution, protect democratic institutions from corruption and perform oversight … Members of Congress and the American public have a right to know the facts so that the true merits of the special counsel’s investigation and the administration’s actions can be considered.”
We do have a right to know, but we still don’t have an unredacted Mueller report. Despite subpoenas, Don McGhan, Hope Hicks, Annie Donaldson and A.G. Bar have not testified and are refusing to honor subpoenas for documents. We still don’t have the current “president’s” tax returns.
We want investigations into impeachment. H. Res 257 does this. There are no WA Rep cosponsors. There may be other bills that call for investigations into impeachment. We need to call for this as citizens to be clear about the danger that our democracy is in.
