Walk for Dr. King’s Dream

Nipponzan Myohoji Bainbridge Island Temple, New Life Community Development Agency, Emmanuel Apostolic Church, Living Arts Cultural Heritage Project (LACH), and Living Life Leadership invite you to walk for the dream of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., toward a harmonious society and a peaceful world without racism and corporate greed. We will gather at Opal Robertson Teen Center (corner Park AVE and Dr. MLK Jr Way in Bremerton).

This walk is part of interconnected events, happening January 10th – 15th, across Tacoma, Puyallup, Des Moines, Bainbridge Island, Poulsbo, Bremerton, and Seattle, with the additional support of Ground Zero Center for Nonviolent Action, Guadalupe House, Indian People for Change, Tacoma Catholic Workers, Lake Forest Park for Peace, Saltwater Unitarian Church, and many other groups.
