WE CAN: Ban the Bomb

December 10, 2017 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Join us as we celebrate the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (ICAN)! Their receipt of the Nobel Peace Prize and successful passing of the UN Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons are historic moments in the fight for a nuclear-free world. We hope you’ll join us in recognizing their achievements and continuing to build local momentum!

This is sure to be a wonderful evening, with food and drinks provided, music, and great company!

Doors open at 6 p.m. Program runs 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Speakers include:
Michael Ramos, Executive Director of Church Council of Greater Seattle
Kim Nesselquist, Consul of Norway in Seattle
Stan Shikuma, with Seattle Kokon Taiko

Performances by the Seattle Peace Chorus Action Ensemble and Marcia and Mrs. Takamura, on koto
