We Stand With Immigrants: Activists/Allies Training

The “Families Belong Together — Seattle” Week of Action will end with this half-day gathering where we will reflect/debrief, plan next steps, and train new and seasoned activists/allies to effectively advocate beyond just family separation to fixing our country’s broken immigration system in a just, moral and humane way.

This gathering will offer the opportunity to meet and connect with the other Coalition group members and discuss strategy moving forward as well as provide resources, training, and sessions on topics including: messaging around immigration and responding to common attacks; using social media for effective activism; using the power of your voice through media; non-violent direct action training; mobilizing communities to GOTV; and youth advocacy. Get the resources and training you need to become an effective advocate for immigrant/refugee rights! There will also be info tables and action booths.
