Lisa Ayrault, Director, FairVote Washington: Lisa first learned about ranked-choice voting more than 30 years ago, when she taught a lesson to her middle school students about the mathematics of voting. Lisa is a native of Washington state. Living under a military dictatorship in Niger, Africa while serving as a Peace Corps volunteer impressed upon her the imperative to be an active steward of our democracy.
Mohit Nair, Partnerships Director: Mohit grew up in India and Japan. He holds a B.S. in Biological Sciences from Cornell University, and a Master of Public Health from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Before moving to Seattle at the end of 2019, Mohit worked with several global non-profits, including Save the Children International and Doctors Without Borders.
