King County – Renew the Fossil Fuel Moratorium!

Wow, can you believe that it’s been six months since we won #FossilFreeKC and a ban on new major fossil fuel infrastructure in King County?
We’re now coming up on the 6-month renewal date for King County’s fossil fuel moratorium. This moratorium was passed alongside the legislation calling for a longer term regulatory rewrite to permanently ban new fossil fuel infrastructure. It puts a ‘freeze’ on fossil fuel development in King County until the new regulations are in place.
Join us at King County Council July 10 to ensure that the moratorium is renewed and that King County continues to step up its climate leadership!
