Talk About WA’s Healthcare for All :: 23rd LD Dems Meeting

Meeting at Poulsbo Library will feature a discussion of universal health care.

Our speaker will be Alan Richrod from Whole Washington. He will be presenting a Powerpoint about SB5222, which is Washington state’s initiative led campaign for Medicare for All. It was made into a Senate Bill by Senator Bob Hasegawa during the 2019 legislative session. While it did NOT get a hearing, senate bills are good for two years.

This is an opportunity for the public and our county PCOs to learn about this important legislation. I’d like to see the public be invited so they have an opportunity to get questions answered.
Alan is coming from Aberdeen to present this talk. It should be a very informative evening! He will present for an hour, including Q&A.
